Case studies

Work we can talk about

Four projects running. See them all on the projects page.

Education & trainingOur own product

StarCi Academy

Interview practice that becomes the candidate profile. Most candidates only learn where they are weak once they have already failed.

Education & trainingClient

FTES

Study to pass the exam, built for students. Failing one subject costs a retake fee and an entire semester.

Construction & servicesClient

Phan Thanh Hoa Contractors

Clients can look up every build we finished. People build a house once in their life, so they fear two things: cost overruns and missed deadlines.

Is this a fit

Who should hire us, who shouldn't

Said up front so neither of us wastes time.

A fit if you

  • You do not want an off-the-shelf theme and want it built for your brand
  • You have a site already but it brings in nothing and you want it done properly
  • You need software that runs your operation, not just a brochure site
  • You are not sure what you want yet — we work the brief out with you

Not a fit yet if you

  • You need it live within a few days
  • You have under 10 million VND and want the cheapest option going
  • You want an existing site copied as-is, with nothing built for you

We still take smaller jobs, quoted individually once we hear the brief.

Ranges up front, so you can do the maths

These are reference ranges; the exact number is fixed during discovery. You pay what we quoted, with nothing added halfway through.

How we work

Five steps, no mystery

01

Discovery and scope

One 30-minute call plus a short written brief. We come back with scope, risks, timeline and a fixed number.

2–4 days

02

Interface design

A clickable Figma prototype with real flows, no lorem ipsum. You approve before the main build is funded.

1–2 weeks

03

Build

Two-week sprints, a demo you can click at the end of each one, and a shared board you can read any day.

Scope-dependent

04

Test and trial run

Staging, server, SSL and database set up. Interface, feature and API testing on desktop and phone, then you sign off on the real thing.

3–5 days

05

Handover and sign-off

Source code, docs, admin access and training handed over. Twelve months of warranty, then an optional maintenance plan.

2–3 days

After handover

Someone still picks up after it ships

The part clients worry about most, so here it is in numbers.

12 months

Free warranty

From the sign-off date. Uptime, security, daily backups, plus advice and training at no charge.

12 hours

Issue acknowledged

Within 12 hours of you reporting it. Reachable by email, chat, hotline, Zalo or form.

48 hours

Cause confirmed

Within 48 hours. Then we propose a fix, carry it out on an agreed timeline and report back.

Optional

Maintenance plan

After the 12 months you can continue on an annual plan covering infrastructure, security patches, backups and support. Entirely optional.

Engagement

Pick the way that fits your cash flow

Same scope either way. Only the payment differs.

Fixed scope

Companies with a budget and a clear scope

We quote a number and a date, paid by milestone. Once it ships, our duty ends beyond the contracted warranty. Overrun is our problem, not yours.

  • Fixed price, fixed deadline
  • Milestone-based payment
  • Warranty per the contract term
  • Schedule risk carried by us

Fixed scope, paid in instalments

Companies that can afford it but do not have the cash up front

Same scope, same quality, same warranty — only the payment differs. Forty percent on signing, the rest spread evenly over six months. You do not have to wait until the full budget is in hand.

  • 40% up front, the rest across six months
  • A 10–15% deferred-payment surcharge, stated up front
  • The same 12-month warranty as fixed scope
  • Source code ownership transfers on final payment

Design first, code after

See the site before you pay for it

Outsourcing usually starts with a requirements document and ends with a surprise. We start with the interface. A designer joins the first call, builds a version you can click through, and reworks it with you until it is right. No code exists yet at that point, so changing your mind is still cheap.

  1. 1

    Unpack the brief

You describe what is going wrong. We write down who will use it, what they need to do, and where the money comes in and out.

  2. 2

    A clickable version

Real screens, real flows, no filler text. Click through it like a finished site and point at what is wrong.

  3. 3

    Lock the interface set

Once approved, the colours, type and buttons are locked into one shared set, so what gets built matches what you signed off.

  4. 4

    Code follows the approved screens

Engineers build the screens you approved. No redesign halfway through, no 'it looked different in Figma'.
